My new 'Toy'

Ron is a very good saver. He is so wonderful and not buying anything so that we can have the house we have always dreamed of. I however am not so great at that. I like to buy. I like to own things. In my defence, he is not very good at telling me no.
So lets be honest about something. I am a fat girl. I am trying to embrace it like Tyra tells me to, but I simply cant! I miss my only semi flabby body. I miss being able to wear my favorite pants without a 'muffin top' which only reminds me that I would like to eat a muffin top.

Anyway, so my friend Cynthia told me about a sale that Sportsman's Warehouse was having on their strollers....so I just wanted to go look. Needless to say we rolled out of the store with my new toy.

Then came the fun part. I strapped Addi in and after about 5 minutes she had her fill. She kept leaning over the side so she could see me to show me she was not having as much fun as I was. Sigh. So should I just torture her and make her suffer through the fun of running so her mom can claim back her body, or just sit on the floor eating chex mix all day?

I will keep you updated on our progress.

That is so cool! I thought about getting one of those for my dredded battle with the baby wieght, which is fast approaching. You will have to keep me posted on how it works out for you!

I vote for the chex mix. Just kidding. I know how you feel, but I think you look great. I have not embraced my muffin top either (the comment about Tyra made me laugh), but the thought of getting skinny only to once again have to get fat (when Morgan and I decide to have another little demon baby) drives me insane. I think I'll wait till I'm done having kids to go all out and track down my inner richard simmons. I'm evil I know. I love you.

Well, been there done that -- we have a running stroller that get's no use either! One, because Riley would rather "run" herself than ride and two, that would mean I would have to well....run. Hate it! Thank goodness I have an excuse right now -- so, I"ll take you up on the chex mix idea. Sounds yummy!

I say sit and eat! I have a double jogging stroller and I'll go rollar blading so the kids will cooperate, they think I run too slow... and have a much better adventure with the blades... and afterwards my butt hurts, so I guess I'll take it for now. Did I mention it's 80 degrees today?... just thought I'd let you know... because I SUCK!

Wow, too funny, you are the funniest girl seriously. Just be grateful you have a muffin top and not a Costco muffin top. I'm on the downhill battle, yet again! and I'm halfway there. It all starts with the food, which I love so much, and then the dreaded exercise. I vote tennis. Take it up, it is so much fun. Straight running day after day after day, is too monotonous. I'm sure Addi will start to enjoy the stroller, though, just give her your chex mix before you head out and voila! happy girl, it works on me.

Bry says that since you got it on sale you should spend the money that you saved and buy an Ipod nano and put movies on it for Addi !! The trick is to go around nap time, or when it is time for her to eat. Load her up with snacks as you run. I know it doesn't have a snack tray so be creative, Give her something new to keep her hands busy that you only use when you put her in the stroller, Nap time is good though because they get lulled to sleep...I don't know- Ill be the odd one out and say stick to it - the chex mix will only add to the muffin top, and like your other friend said you don't want a "costco muffin top". You can do it, you just have to get creative !

I think you should use it at the same time you snarf down the chex mix, you are no one trick pony. Seriously though, whenever I have kids I already told Travis I will be getting one of those. You had to sacrifice your body for this child, I don't think you should feel bad at all for the buy. I hope Addi will learn to love it. But man that chocolate turtle chex mix also sounds really good right about now.... mmmmmmmmmmmm chex mix.

If you have a muffin top, I have a bakers dozen. lol. I convinced Brian to let me get this VERY expensive jogging stroller, that has yet to be used for jogging! I miss you! We need to play together soon :)

I'm so jealous! I had a jogging stroller when Peyton was younger that I used religiously. Now I need a two seater! I keep telling Dan, as soon as it warms up I am getting one! Have fun with it!

Liz! You need to invite me to your blog!

Mandy...you totally make me laugh! Your comment about Tyra was funny..."just enbrace it"... So do ya think it will be even harder for me to loose my muffin top after I have kids! ha! I haven't enjoyed pants without fat spilling over the top for several years now. I blame it on getting married. It really packs on the pounds. Can't wait to fight the battle of weight loss after I start having kids! ;) You're so motivated to even try! Good luck with the stroller!

Oh, I work on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday...776-1240. You should totally come in sometime. It has been forever since I have seen you AND Laura. We need to have a post-MOEC reunion! :)

She'll learn to love it. The Ick man makes me take him on walks all the time. I too have the jogger and though no jogging happens I really like it. Like Laura I'm going to need a 2 seater and am loathing spending the money again.
